Sign language week

It is Sign Language week. Linh Da in our class is deaf, so if you want to talk to her you need to do sign language. As you can see, there is a photo of a butterfly, that is because butterflies represent sign language because they are deaf as well. We did some activities and games which involved sign language. We also drew big butterflies on the pavement outside of room 5 with some chalk.
Some people came too, to talk about sign language.

We are learning a bit about sign language and how to use it. Rachel is teaching us.

Rachel taught us two really cool games. One was a colour game, where Rachel and Linh Da signed a colour and the class had to run to the colour. The other one was an alphabet game, where Ocean signed a letter, and if a kid in the class had that letter at the start of their name they would try and run to the other side of the court, and Ocean would try and tag them.
