Learning is something that doesn't just come to you, it's something you choose to do. I love to learn! In room 5 we are doing maths, art, writing and lots more.

For
maths we are doing a tiger turf project. We are measuring how big the sports court is. Room 5 has measured the whole court! This maths is really fun and awesome. The court is 903.15m in length and width. Meg and I have looked up on the internet how much tiger turf would cost at bunnings and all these different hardware stores. It costs $20.00 for a metre of tiger turf. For the whole court to have tiger turf it cost $18060!

At camp Mr Ashby pranked us about these creatures called drop bears. They are not even real! So he told the class to write a report about a creature we made up and I made up a creature called the ChemilioMahko.
We are doing a new art project. We have put water paint on paper, that will be the sky then we will put black fantasy stuff on top of the beautiful water paint, so it stands out.
For genius hour Cherry and I are doing a comic/book thing. This is me working on the story.
There's Linh Da and Ocean working on making clothes! Pretty awesome eh.
In Maths term 2, Room 5 is coordinates. I really enjoy this Maths because in the future you will need to know your coordinates maybe when you are travelling. Room 5 is also doing a lot of things to do with ANZAC day and WW1 so for maths we made a poppy with coordinates.
